Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.


Pastor Roger Parker, Senior Pastor

Born in Chicago, IL, Roger lived there only 7 years before the family moved to Oklahoma City. Roger was baptized and grew up in the Ridgecrest United Methodist Church. During his senior year, Roger felt a strong calling to the ministry and attended Oklahoma City University where he graduated with a a BA in Religion. He then attended Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He was ordained “Deacon” in 1985. 
After graduation, Roger began serving churches in the Oklahoma Conference. He was ordained “Elder” in 1989. Before coming to Pryor FUMC, he served the Laverne and Rosston United Methodist Churches for 9 years. 
He and his wife Dana enjoy music and led the Praise Team at the Laverne Church.



Michael Smith, Youth Director

Michael is our Youth Director and works with grades 7th – 12th. He also leads our Wednesday GLOW service that starts at 6pm in our Fellowship Hall. Michael was raised in the Methodist church and previously worked with youth programs at FUMC Claremore, FUMC Oologah, and Wesley UMC Shawnee. He has a passion for helping the youth grow in their knowledge of the bible and to help them grow stronger as Disciples of Christ.


Debbie Bailey- Chancel Choir Director

Debbie has been the Chancel Choir Director here at Pryor FUMC for 9 years. She is a retired teacher and taught Elementary school for 15  years then taught music for 15 years.  She and her husband Doug have 2 married daughters and 5 grandchildren.


Donna Talley- Pianist

Donna and her husband Dewey have been members at Pryor FUMC since 1967. She plays the piano  during the Heritage service and is also in the Chancel Choir and can play the organ. She also serves on several committees.
