First United Methodist Church of Pryor is a vibrant congregation with a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We work to fulfill our mission by obeying the Greatest Commandments and the Great Commission. The Greatest Commandment is:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all our mind and with all your strength,” Mark 12:30.
The second Greatest Commandment is:
“Love your neighbor as yourself,” Mark 12:31
The Great Commission is,
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, “ Matthew 28:19-20
Our goal is to help people to grow in their relationship with God. We encourage this through vibrant worship, Sunday School, Bible studies, and mission opportunities. We believe God loves you where you are but also loves you enough to not leave you there! We pray that you will join us in loving God, loving others and making disciples for our Lord Jesus Christ.
